Here is an example hair care regimen for the ladies with wavy, type 2 hair. Feel free to customize this regimen to your hair’s needs. Similar to other hair care regimen examples, this regimen is not set in stone, and your hair care regimen may be completely different than this example.
Weekly Hair Care Regimen
Sunday: Gently detangle hair with fingers. Co-wash hair and apply styling cream for wash-n-go.
Monday: Continue to wear wash-n-go style.
Tuesday: Place wash-n-go style into a bun.
Wednesday: Co-wash hair and apply styling cream for wash-n-go style.
Thursday: Continue to wear wash-n-go style.
Friday: Place wash-n-go style into a bun..
Saturday: Continue to wear bun.

Deep conditioning is in my opinion the most important step to growing long hair. Every lady I know who has long, healthy hair has made a lifestyle out of deep conditioning. No matter your hair type or your hair’s current condition, you should be deep conditioning at least once a week. Your deep conditioning schedule may be more frequent, but this is a good base line to start with. What you deep condition your hair with is important as well because all conditioners are not created equal.
